How Will We Ever Meet the Many Needs of the Unemployed?
One or more of the following:
- Find
someone with Human Resources experience to help with critiquing resumes,
conducting mock interviews, etc.
- Find
someone with coaching and/or counseling experience to help with the emotional
issues.
- Find
someone with the *gift of hospitality/helping/service who can assist with set up
and providing refreshments for meetings/training sessions.
- Find
someone with the *gift of leadership/encouragement who can help with promoting
networking.
- Find
someone with the *gift of administration to start up a Career Resource
Library.
- Provide
congregation/parish with information on CTSM training
calendar.
- Provide
congregation/parish with information on other key ministries and resources
(i.e., spousal support, training sessions)
- Direct
congregation/parish to the job search resources listed on the CTSM
website/newsletter.
- Direct
job seekers to sign up for the CTSM newsletter.
- Get
former job seekers to support current job seekers.
- The reason we talk about spiritual gifts is it takes a lot of people and
one of the processes we take job seekers through is an assessment of their own
spiritual gifts to apply to ministry and
work.
